The attack on Raysar by Tartaros was taking place in four major directions.

The ones commanding those regions were four individuals:

Elena, Agon, Kyle, and Lysinas.

Among the four fronts, the fiercest battlefield was, as expected, the one under Lysinas's command.

It was the most vulnerable spot, where the fortress wall protruded unusually.

Naturally, this area became the focal point of Tartaros's concentrated assault.

Lysinas observed the battlefield calmly.

The most prominent figures in her sector were, without a doubt, Lunia, Aru, and Drianna.

Whoosh—

"Flame Emperor."

Lunia wielded the flame of the Phoenix King.

The white flame, reminiscent of the oathbound Katariou, was enough to surprise Lysinas.

But Lunia didn't just wield the Phoenix King's flame.

Buzz—!

Flames engulfed Lunia's entire body.

As Lysinas watched the fire blaze like a sacred torch, she thought:

'Star Sorcery.'

Though the form was different from Luna's star sorcery, it was unmistakably the same magic.

And it wasn't just Lunia.

Most of the elves from the future wielded star sorcery.

Seeing that, Lysinas realized:

They were all successors to Luna's will.

"So Luna became the existence she dreamed of."

Luna often said she wanted to be a guiding star to many, shining like one in the night sky. That memory came back.

Boom—!

Lunia swept through the demons with overwhelming destructive force.

As if evaporated, the demons vanished—and into that space leapt a white cat beastkin.

Crack—!

With the force packed in her toes, the ground sank beneath her.

Aru, eyes gleaming blue, stared straight ahead, sword in hand.

What she locked eyes with was a top-tier demon who had withstood Lunia's magic.

Area magic was excellent for wiping out large groups of enemies.

However, its weakness lay in being inefficient against exceptionally powerful foes.

Focusing firepower might work, but that method drained magical energy too quickly.

And ignoring such strong enemies wasn't an option.

Especially not when Tartaros had many with such power.

Top-tier demons were dangerous enough to sway the battlefield and control momentum.

Hence, someone capable of defeating them was necessary.

Aru pointed her Brave at the top-tier demon and kicked off the ground.

BOOM—!

A massive shockwave swept the surroundings.

"You must have a death wish!"

The top-tier demon smirked as Aru charged at him.

"My name is Darkas! Loyal servant of Lord Dikomuth! King of Destruction!!"

Darkas raised his sword.

Clang—!

Aru's Brave clashed with Darkas's blade.

Aru bared her teeth in a savage grin.

"My name is Aru! Hero! Successor of Lord Aaron!"

"Hmph! Successor to that coward? You're nothing special!"

"What?! Coward?! How dare you insult Lord Aaron! You're dead, you tin-head bastard!"

Aru's blue eyes flared with killing intent.

CLANG—!

Sword energy howled through the air.

Darkas's strikes destroyed everything they grazed.

An overwhelming show of power.

It looked like a reckless battle.

Yet Aru didn't retreat.

Slash—!

"KRAAGH!"

Eventually, Aru's blade severed Darkas's arm.

For a top-tier demon, losing an arm wasn't fatal.

But the wound was severe enough to prevent him from continuing the fight.

"UOOOOHHHH!"

As Aru defeated Darkas, allied morale surged once again.

She reminded everyone of Aaron.

Led by Aru, the Azonia students bravely held off the enemy.

Their courage inspired those around them.

RUMBLE—!

Suddenly, black magic began pouring from the sky.

As Lysinas prepared to counter it, Drianna raised golden flames.

The golden flames swirling around Drianna's aura shielded them from the black magic like a barrier.

Lysinas looked at Drianna in astonishment.

"She resembles Dweno."

It felt like fighting alongside Luna, Aaron, and Dweno again.

A smile formed on Lysinas's lips.

"Kyle… he said he was reincarnated in the future, didn't he?"

She had thought he was fighting Tartaros alone again.

"I see. These children are the successors Kyle chose for us."

Kyle in the future wasn't alone.

That alone brought her comfort.

"What might the Kyle of the future be like?"

Curiosity bloomed naturally.

She felt ashamed to face him, yet yearned to see him.

What would Kyle say to her?

What would he think of her?

As thoughts swirled, Lysinas raised her hand.

BOOM—!

A vast dragon's magical energy surged.

Dragon-language magic filled the sky.

Despite also summoning spirits, an absurdly massive spell was unleashed.

Agon, watching from afar, muttered:

"Incredible."

He let out a dry laugh.

"Maybe it was for the best that I declined her offer back then."

Long ago.

He remembered Lysinas extending her hand, asking him to help save the world.

Agon had refused and instead sent his disciple to accompany her.

Now, he felt that decision had been the right one.

He wasn't a fitting comrade for such a powerful dragon.

At best, he wouldn't drag her down.

"Times truly are changing."

Agon's gaze turned to the children fighting on the battlefield.

"L-Lady Velkia! You're going too far!"

"Mm. Protect me, okay?"

With a blank expression, Velkia answered Eiran and charged forward.

"You're Xia, right?"

"Yes, Lady Bihar."

"Have we met before? You feel oddly familiar."

"Hmm? Maybe?"

In response to Bihar's question, Chen Xia laughed.

Fwoooosh—!

A demon aiming at them was burned by the flames of aura.

"Thank you, Miss Celia!"

Chen Xia waved cheerfully.

Agon, watching, turned to the Leo party charging toward the legion commanders.

"I wanted to show you all this kind of scene, too."

Agon gripped Schatten.

Images of the orphanage children who had passed on flickered in his mind.

What stirred Agon's heart was the word hope.

In this horrific age of catastrophe, the most despairing battlefield he had ever known—

Ironically, it was there that he finally saw hope.

Agon smiled faintly as he looked at his disciple in the center of Tartaros's forces.

"Aaron. I'm proud of you."

bl

Golden aura surged from Aaron's body.

Then, four Aarons appeared.

"Azonia! Don't use your clones—just cover me!"

The Aarons began slashing through demons at lightning speed.

At the center of Aarons, Azonia calmly supported them.

'They're in perfect sync.'

Despite the complex movement of the four clones, their paths never overlapped.

'What the hell is he seeing with that hypersensory ability?'

Shivering, Azonia realized Aaron was briefly predicting the future and let out a laugh.

'This man, seriously…'

Impossible to hate. Impossible not to respect.

A martial god who had reached the ultimate state of nothingness.

Azonia threw a punch.

BAM—!

A demon aiming at a clone's back had its head blasted off.

Aaron admired her in turn.

"Amazing."

Just as Azonia admired Aaron—

Aaron couldn't help but admire her.

Every one of her techniques was mind-bogglingly intricate.

Even her punches carried meaning and intention.

The result of Azonia following Aaron in her own unique way.

What she had built was worthy of admiration, even from Aaron.

Leo, in the rear, clicked his tongue watching the two beastkin dominate the front.

'What the…? Those aura clones? Didn't Azonia create that technique?'

It wasn't Aaron's style.

He himself could use aura clones, but not ones indistinguishable from the original.

"What the? That's like magic!"

Luna burst out in awe.

Above her head, a giant's massive arm descended.

"Ah!"

Distracted by Aaron's clones, Luna hurried to cast a spell—

But at that moment—

Leo pulled Luna into his arms, dodging the attack.

The Leo party was charging straight for the summoning magic circle.

There was no time for delay.

Slowing down would be more dangerous.

"You okay?"

"Y-Yeah… th-thanks."

"This is why I'm at the rear. Don't worry about the surroundings—just focus on casting."

"Okay."

In Leo's embrace, Luna nodded.

Her heart raced.

His face was different, but this indifferent yet considerate behavior was unmistakably Kyle.

"No… maybe he's even kinder…"

The current Kyle would've grumbled and tossed her aside after saving her.

But Leo held her even tighter, as if cherishing her.

Luna buried her face in his chest and murmured inwardly.

"So that's it. Kyle was reincarnated alone in the future."

Realizing that, a bitter expression crossed her face.

She took a deep breath, then opened her eyes—

And magical energy blazed within them.

"For some reason… I'm pissed off."

Not being able to be with Leo in the future irritated her rebellious side.

Rather than sadness or fear, it made her angry.

"Maybe I should just seduce him after the battle? Even if he's Kyle, if I make a bold move, he might fall for it."

Magic swelled from Luna's twitching ears.

"Anyway, I'll think about that later. For now—"

A fierce grin spread across her face.

"Aaron! Azonia! Fall back! Luna's casting a spell!"

Leo shouted urgently.

Aaron and Azonia quickly retreated.

Then, without delay, Luna's furious magic began to obliterate the demons.

bl

Hell Kaiser, drawing the summoning circle, noticed the charging enemies and narrowed his eyes.

"Aaron, Dweno, Luna…"

They were truly bothersome.

"And… who are those other three?"

Upon seeing Azonia, Damian, and Leo, irritation twisted his face.

"Where the hell did those come from?"

Unexpected variables enraged the Lich King.

But that rage was short-lived.

"As long as none of them survive, Lord Erebos's summoning cannot be stopped."

The summoning was conducted by the commanders, but the power came from Erebos.

No matter how strong Luna's magic was, she couldn't stop a circle powered by Erebos's authority.

Then, the Leo party reached the summoning circle.

"It's pointless."

Hell Kaiser sneered.

But then—

Leo, holding Luna, leaped into the air.

And said:

"Luna, want to see something amazing?"

"What is it?"

Wrapped tightly around his neck, Luna looked puzzled.

Leo smiled and unleashed magic.

Pure white energy exploded.

Luna's eyes widened.

Hell Kaiser's face contorted in horror.

"This is…!"

Luna was speechless.

Leo's magic formula, forged from pure magic—

It was a spell Luna herself had created.

One was the ultimate destructive spell: Extinction.

The other, a unique spell gifted to Kyle: Innocent.

But he didn't just cast both spells.

He fused them.

If Extinction was the ultimate destruction, Innocent was the pinnacle of purity.

Luna had never thought to combine them.

She believed it was impossible.

Yet now, the two incompatible spells had merged before her very eyes.

As Leo completed the formula, he spoke its name:

"Zero."

A void of destruction illuminated the world.
